 🙏🏼 As we pack up our things to prepare for Bali I find myself reflecting on this leg of our journey and how ending it with this new moon meditation was actually perfect. The mantra we were repeating with use of Malabeads was Om Mani Padme Hum. A mantra said to invoke compassion... My intention as we chanted was to show myself more compassion. To rise up and meet myself and to allow myself to let go of what isn’t working in my life. It was exactly what I needed. Hanoi it turns out was exactly what I needed albeit a bit cool and damp but I am so glad we spent 8 days here. As I wind down for the night I wish all of you out there a day and evening of peace, self reflection, love and cotton candy skies🧡... .

Can’t say I’ve ever been as excited to celebrate Christmas, family and life as I am this year.. in 24 days I start a 7 week travel stint that will take me home for the holidays, followed by

(for my birthday and nye!), Hong Kong, Vietnam and Bali {if Mother Earth decides to settle her rumbling}... I am travelling with my partner who is giving me the greatest gift of all which is time. Can not wait.. but today is pretty cool too! Pancakes & Yoga times two 12:15

Good morning from Hanoi! View from our cute little hotel~~some serious amounts of exploring to do (and buying a couple of sweaters.. 13degrees today and I can’t keep wearing the same thing..), yoga and finding our b&b. So far the sun hasn’t shown its face but I won’t lose heart. Mr Sun is coming I just need to be patient. .

From the moment my hips were above my heart I knew I wanted to walk on my hands. With no gymnastics in my background (6months in grade 4 doesn’t count) it was a scary thing to do but everyday my strength builds and one day {one very fine day} I may not need the wall💙✨✨ .

Home for the next week~~ High above the hustle and bustle of the Old Quarter.. perfect for morning meditation, practice and breakfast on our balcony.. Hanoi is busy, noisy and dirty but we are falling in love with it. The people are so sweet, the yoga is lovely and navigating (with the mister) has not been a problem. Now with this home stay I think we could be quite comfy for a while.. . .

For those of you that have followed me since my sabbatical in 2015, you may remember posts such as these. While travelling I found that the only meal I could control while not having a kitchen was breakfast. I always managed to have a plate, knife and fork and once I gathered all my ingredients the rest was easy. Well yesterday we found the tools and the ingredients so voila.. breakfast is served☺️ .

Currently in a very good place☀️ This is legit the first time I’ve needed my sunglasses. The sun is out and while it’s still chilly I’m eating my breakfast on the balcony. Papaya, dragon fruit, nuts and seeds. Happy happy joy joy...
