Sending breath into all the bits and pieces and making space for it all. My 44th trip around the sun in 4 days, 7th year of starting my life over. This is me. 42 years young today. Days shy of being 5 years sober. I in no way have it all figured out. Quite the opposite actually. I still feel so young in so many ways. Still trying to figure out how to live this life as a sober, strong but sometimes very weak woman. I am on my path. I will falter. I will fall..I will make huge mistakes... But I will also pick myself up, dust myself off and try again. I always knew I was destined for greater things. I know in my heart my higher power has big things in store for me. I am present. I am here. In this moment right now. Thank you for the love.. 🙏🏼~~~~~~~~~

So very grateful for all the awesome in my life. 7 years ago today I was a scared, drunk, unsure, unfocused, ashamed woman who was terrified to live the life she could only imagine. 4 days after my birthday at that time I dragged myself to my second attempt at a detox centre and everything changed. I was ready. I was beyond sick and tired of being sick and tired. Today I am the opposites of all those things but I keep the memories as they still live in me on a cellular level. I have worked my ass off to become the woman I am today and will continue to do so. I will not shrink back. I am committed to live the life I have been given. Happy birthday to me💛

It’s my birthday today! My birthday has always been a special day for me but especially since getting sober. Today I am 45 years young. I have worked my ass off to get to where I am emotionally, physically, spiritually and one day at a time I will continue to do the work it takes to be the person I am meant to be. 8 years ago today I was hungover, ashamed, scared and humiliated. January 3rd of 2012 a mere 5 days later I took my life back. So in essence, my birthday is 2 birthdays. Today I will celebrate my biological and sober birthdays with many friends. Thank you to everyone who have reached out so far. Your blessings mean the world to me💜

All the AVO TOAST FOR MY BIRTHDAY! Yes, today marks 46 years round the sun. It certainly has been a year. At the beginning of last year my word was EXPANSION. I wanted to expand on all areas of my life but the most important was the expansion within myself. Sound corny? Yeah maybe but it’s the truth. I’ve grown as a human a great deal over the last 9 years but as with anything there’s always more work, curiosity, imagination, manifestation to be done and 2020 gave me the time to do that.  This past year has been a gift. Everydamnday is a gift. Thank you to each of you out here who have taken the time to connect. I’m so grateful for the community I have cultivated here.
