It’s time for something savoury! Hope you enjoy this vid, my friends! 👩🏻‍🍳. Mince: 5Tbsp olive oil. 1kg organic beef mince. 1 onion chopped. 3 garlic chopped. 1/4 cup white wine. 1 cinnamon stick. 1/2 tsp all spice. 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon. 3 bay leaves. 400g crushed tomato. 2 Tbsp tomato paste. 1/2 tsp dried oregano. Water. Salt and pepper to taste. Bechamel. 1/4 cup butter. 1/4 cup plain flour. 1 Tbsp corn flour. 6-7 cups full cream milk. Pinch of nutmeg. Grated cheese 🧀 as much as you’d like. Salt and pepper to taste. Macaronia - tubeular pasta. Mizithera (hard grated goats cheese) or another cheese you’d like. Notes. -Balance your flavours. Taste as you go, if you don’t like spices such as cinnamon in savoury dishes, you can leave them out or add less. -ensure the flour cooks in the butter before you add the milk. -Ensure your bechamel is seasoned. -170 - 180 degrees Celsius in the oven. My dish was 12 inch round.
