Everyday we have a choice. A choice to show up and be present. To be of service, to listen, to offer advice if so required... Today I was offered a very special gift. The gift of giving back to my very first sponsor who is now asking for my help. We went to a fabulous meeting this morning and got to here some phenomenal stories of experience, strength and hope. My friend sees how far I've come and she wants what I have. How amazing is that?  I am one unbelievably grateful recovering alcoholic. I am proud of my story and love that I can inspire others to achieve not just sobriety but a LIFE worth living and to be excited about.

I have shared about this before but I feel it bears repeating.. I used to be shamed and ashamed of how sensitive I was/am. I used to get, You’re so SENSITIVE all. the. time. I would feel embarrassed by this, ashamed and in turn would feel stupid, inadequate and wrong for being a feeling person. Today, I still have days where someone will say something, and I go back right to that same said place but the difference NOW is that I recognize it. I see it for what it is and then let it go. Saying the words let it go has helped. Releasing it and giving it over to my higher power. I wouldn’t change ME for anything. I wouldn’t change you either. If you’re sensitive AF join the club. Honour who you are and rise up. I love you💗

Here I am just me trying to be a better friend, lover, teacher, daughter, sister, woman, human.. Feeling all the feels, tears caught in my throat, riding waves like they are tsunamis. Unsure of nothing and everything at the same time. This too shall pass, of this iam sure but until it does I need to be gentle. Gentle with this big ol heart of mine. So incredibly true... When you are put to the test how do you react? My personal MO has been to take everything personally. I have always been a reactor and I never reacted well😏 Self care, Personal practice, meditation, patience, yoga and more practice has gotten me to a better place. I am able to see beyond the initial reaction but again, it ain't always easy.. I am forever a work in progress and am incredibly grateful for it🙏🏼 Thank you for your wisdom Dr Dyer...rest in peace💕

Getting geared up for another busy day and after one of the worlds worst sleeps I need all the help I can get. Do you ever get the opportunity to watch karma inaction? Well it’s happening to me right now. 18 years ago I was not a good neighbour. Playing loud music at all ungodly hours of the day. I wasn’t a good neighbour for many years. Now I’m blessed with having a bad neighbour. The mister knocked on their door 3 times last night and it was still going around 3am. Le sigh... we’ve tried the email route with him letting him know we are early birds and he said he would keep it down.. he hasn’t and last night was out of control. We moved beside a 50 year old frat guy😫 Naps will most DEF be in order after AA, and teaching back to back. In the bowl I have oats, buckwheat groats, granola and hemp. Hoping the protein will sustain🙏🏼
